Sheila Johnson, President/Founder

Sheila Johnson is the president of HBL Business Services, LLC. With over 25 years of experience in the field of accounting, Sheila has experience in mortgage banking dealing with FNMA and GNMA loans, before perfecting her expertise as a manager.

Sheila was employed for 17 years at H.B. LaZar Business Services, Inc. before taking over ownership in January 2014. Sheila graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1990 with a Bachelor 0f Arts in Music and Accounting. An active member of her church, she enjoys boat rides and cooking.

Sheila resides in Bowie, MD with her husband Kevin and their children Mitchell and Jai.

Yanet Davlia

Yanet has joined HBL Business Services with a background in accounting, specializing in accounts receivable/ payable and bank reconciliations.  She has experience working with Government Contractors, trust/estate clients on their bookkeeping needs. Currently, she has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Prince George’s Community College and is looking forward to getting her Bachelor’s Degree soon. She enjoys helping and working with her clients and co-workers.  In addition, she is bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish.

Yanet and her husband Bryan have two children Brendan and Faith. She enjoys doing family activities, whatever they want to do, she goes along with it.

Margaret Dohmen

Margaret came to HBL Business Services with a varied background in business ownership and management.  She has been associated with the insurance, mortgage, real estate, engineering, and graphic arts fields most of her life.  As a graphic technician at a Stanford physics facility, she excelled at office management and produced artwork for technical publications.  After returning to the East Coast, she set up small businesses and office procedures for new companies before joining HBL Business Services in 1998.

At her leisure, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.   Gardening, reading, and traveling keep her busy.

Angela Gillian

Angela came to HBL Business Services with an accounting and project management background specializing in billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Enjoying the systematic workflow and the structure of its principles. She enjoys the challenges of every part of being an analyst and organizing real data. Graduating in 2009 from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Later she returned to Prince George’s Community College during the pandemic earning her Accounting Certificate.

Her activities included involvement with the Student Volunteer Advisory Board at Bowie State University. She started her own nonprofit organization working within the community, assisting churches and other organizations.
